welcome. pop is:

1) an homage to the old days of zzt (little music, a
.hi score file).
2) an inventory-based kudzu-esque game.
3) a really sucky way to kill a few hours.

i thought it up sometime in february of 1998.
i started making it sometime in march.
i finished it on august 20th, 1998.

* hints *

-touch everything, damnit.

-assuredly, everything is there for a purpose. if something
seems pointless, use items with a sensible relation to it, or 
just keep touching it till something happens.

-there are eight gems in 'pop'. collecting all eight will get
you to the super secret board.

-a single hint: to get to the tower interiors, go to the place
labelled 'the tower entrance' (or something to that effect).
aggravate the statue until it chases you, push the red button,
and stand so that the moving drill is between you and the angered
statue. touch the ruins to get the *rock*. use the *rock* on
justice's scales.

-if you're really stuck, mail me, and i'll get you out of a jam.
if you need help finding eight gems, i'm not the one to ask, damnit.
